Thanks for letting me join your site. I love those cicadas. I’m a former resident of northern Virginia and they came up out of the ground in the late 80’s when I was there. I remember getting off the subway and being asked by a woman who was walking in front of me to “watch her back” and let her know if any landed on her. Fun times.
